Hope Street provides warm, seamless transitions into safe housing for unsheltered youth in the East Topeka, Kansas area. Our approach is grounded in compassion and connection, ensuring that each young person feels seen, supported, and guided every step of the way.

JUSTUS is grounded in the belief that every young person in East Topeka deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to grow into their full potential. Creating change by equipping youth with the tools, confidence, and connections they need to thrive—while strengthening the fabric of East Topeka and reducing the cycles of violence that affect our neighborhoods.
We walk alongside youth and their families through structured cognitive‑behavioral journaling focused on anger management, stress management, life skills, and other essential areas. By helping young people understand their emotions, build healthier responses, and develop practical skills, Justus creates pathways toward stability, resilience, and brighter futures.

WE BUILD is a summer program designed to uplift East Topeka’s youth by addressing the challenges of unemployment, disconnection, and community violence. We provide students ages 12–18 with structured workshops, hands‑on skill‑building, and paid internships that open doors to opportunity and purpose.
By leveraging strong community partnerships, WE BUILD creates safe, supportive spaces where young people can grow, discover their strengths, and envision brighter futures.
